A woman who suffered heart attack symptoms while watching a West Virginia University basketball game a few weeks ago got a surprise visit from the team’s leading scorer today.

Da’Sean Butler took a break from preparing for the team’s historic NCAA Final Four appearance to visit 74-year-old Agnes Channel at WVU Hospitals’ Ruby Memorial.

Butler surprised the Upshur County woman, an avid WVU Basketball fan. According to family members, Agnes was reluctant to go to the hospital until after the game was over. She sports a temporary tattoo on her cheek of the WVU logo and says she hasn’t missed a game since she was admitted to Ruby.

Video of Butler’s visit is posted at WVU Healthcare on Facebook and YouTube.
