West Virginia University Associate Professor of Geography Brent McCusker will talk about “The Impact of Climate Change on Africa’s Development” on Thursday, March 4.

McCusker’s presentation will be held at 6 p.m. in the Shenandoah room of the Mountainlair.

McCusker will use recent research in Malawi and South Africa to discuss anticipated changes in the physical environment and a range of expected human response, while highlighting the fact that uncertainty remains high in terms of actual impact and response.

The program, part of the “Africa Initiative Lecture Series,” is sponsored by the Office of Student Life- Multicultural Programs.
