West Virginia University students, faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in a Day of Remembrance to honor the victims of the Haitian earthquake by wearing red and blue, the official colors of Haiti, Friday, Feb. 12.

The University hopes this gesture will remind West Virginians to continue to donate to aid organizations and support volunteers working in Haiti to help that nation recover from the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that killed and injured thousands last month.
