Two faculty members from the WVU Community Arts Program, soprano Janis-Rozena Peri and pianist Catherine Crotty, will present a recital at the Creative Arts Center, Sunday, Jan. 24.

The program begins at 3 p.m. in the Bloch Learning and Performance Hall (200A). The recital is free and the public is cordially invited to attend.

The program will include Claude Debussy’s “Proses Lyriques” and four settings of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s “Nur wer die Sehnsucht kennt.”

There will also be performances of Franz Schubert, Aaron Copland, Federico Mompou, Igor Stravinsky and Amy Beach works.

Peri recently retired from the WVU voice program and is now an artist faculty member in the Community Music Program.

Crotty is a longtime artist faculty member in the Community Music Program, who also recently retired.
