Students at West Virginia University have an affordable, convenient option if they choose to practice safer sex.

The Condom Caravan, a venue for WVU students to buy condoms around campus, sells over 30 varieties of condoms for 25 cents each or five for $1.

WELL WVU: Student Wellness and Health Promotion hosts the caravan. WELL WVU aims to inform students about sexual health and encourage sexually active students to make responsible decisions.

This year, the caravan will no longer be held in room G280 of the Health Sciences Center. Instead, three separate locations will host the caravan for two hours per week.

On Tuesdays from 12-2 p.m., the caravan will be in the Mountainlair.

On Wednesdays from 4-6 p.m., the caravan will be outside of the dining halls at various residence halls across campus. The first will be held at the Evansdale Residential Complex on Jan. 20.

On Thursdays, the caravan will be on the ground floor of the Health Sciences Center near Student Health and the dining hall from 12-2 p.m. The first will be Jan. 21.

Erin Beck, a WELL WVU graduate assistant, will be available to answer questions or refer students to other campus health services.

The Condom Caravan schedule is available online at http://well.wvu.edu/wellness .
