New international dance group The StepCrew will captivate audiences with a mix of traditional and modern music and moves at the WVU Creative Arts Center on Thursday, Nov. 5. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are going fast and can be purchased at the Mountainlair and Creative Arts Center box offices, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at ticketmaster.com and by phone at 304-293-SHOW.

With the world’s top talents in Irish Step, Ottawa Valley and modern tap, The StepCrew features seven outstanding dancers that are backed by some of the greatest fiddle players of the genre, a female vocalist and a four-piece band. Many of the performers have previously toured with various revered stage shows, including legendary Irish group The Chieftains and Bowfire. While the group showcases traditional classics in their dancing, they also move through modern interpretations of Celtic dances and powerful new compositions created specifically for this tour.

Although some compare The StepCrew to Riverdance and Tap Dogs, the performers take dancing to new heights and produce an unforgettable experience of magnificent music and spectacular choreography.

Tickets range in price from $30 to $33, depending on seat location and may be purchased at the Mountainlair and Creative Arts Center box offices, online at ticketmaster.com and by phone at 304-293- SHOW or 800-745-3000. Tickets may also be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Giant Eagle on Greenbag Rd. WVU Students can purchase tickets for $20 with a valid Mountaineer card at the campus box offices. One discount per I.D.
