Philip Antoon, managing director and global practice leader of Marsh Risk Consulting’s Valuation Services, will present “Valuation of Intangible Assets” at West Virginia University as part of the WVU College of Business and Economics Chartered Financial Analyst Seminar Series. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, is at 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16. in Ming Hsieh Hall Room 126.

Antoon, who graduated from WVU with a degree in finance, oversees a full service valuation practice with team members in New York, Chicago, Atlanta, San Francisco, Amsterdam, Beijing, and Hong Kong. He has 20 years experience valuing intangible assets and common stock, preferred stock, options, warrants and debt. He has performed valuations for tax, financial reporting, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, financing and litigation support purposes for companies internationally and across a variety of industries. He has lectured on valuation topics to Financial Executives International, valuation and accounting professionals, and graduate and undergraduate university classes.

Prior to joining Marsh, Phil was a managing director with Duff & Phelps and a director in the New York office of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Value Consulting Practice. He also worked in the valuation groups of both Ernst & Young and Deloitte & Touche.
