West Virginia University is offering three One-Stop Shop events next week to help graduating students prepare for Commencement.

They are from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday (March 3) in the Mineral Resources Building Atrium and from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday (March 4-5) in the Mountainlair commons.

Besides ordering caps and gowns, students can pick up graduation application information from their individual colleges and pay the $39 graduation fee by check or online. WVU departments, including Admissions and Records and Student Accounts, will be on hand, and the Student Health Service will have information about finding health insurance and transferring records.

In addition, the WVU Career Services Center will offer tips on job hunting and resume writing, and students can sign up with the Alumni Association and the Athletic Department to stay connected to WVU and Mountaineer athletics after graduation.

One-Stop Shop provides centralized locations on both campuses where students can order official University regalia and graduation announcements from the WVU Bookstore, said Sheila Powell with Student Affairs.I hope that all of our graduating seniors will stop by to take care of their graduation needs. We understand how busy they are this semester, and this is a service WVU provides to help make our studentslives just a little easier.

Participants can also learn about the Mountaineer Mark and class gift, Powell said, and enter a drawing for a diploma frame or WVU watch.

One-Stop Shop is sponsored by Student Affairs and part of the Senior Year Experience. To learn more, call 304-293-5811 or visithttp://senioryear.experience.wvu.edu/.
