The West Virginia University Community Arts Program is continuing to accept registrations for spring classes at the Creative Arts Center.

Spaces are available in many of the sessions that begin in April. Registration will be held through March 17.

In addition to our previously advertised classes, we have added some new sections for some of our most popular classes,director Jeanne Frieben said.For those waiting for better weather to commit to any classes, these are for you.

Openings remain in the following classes:

  • Dance Yoga 4 Creativity (adults) April 1-May 6
  • Art Introduction to Digital Photography (ages 13 and up) April 3-May 8, SmArt Kids (ages 3-5) April 3-May 1, Maskmaking and Puppetry for Kids (ages 5-8) April 3-May 1, Introduction to Photoshop for Adults April 5-May 24
  • Private music lessons Private lessons are available in piano, organ, voice, brass, woodwind, percussion, strings, guitar, jazz singing, jazz improvisation, harp, theory and composition, conducting, music therapy and the Alexander Technique.
