The second summer school session at West Virginia University promises to be as busy as the first, with an array of traditional and nontraditional courses available.

Summer School II begins Monday, July 2, and continues through Thursday, Aug. 9.

Its not too late for students to register for core courses, including those in agriculture and forestry, arts and sciences, business, engineering and journalism.

Nontraditional courses offered during the second session include a trip to Spain, a marine biology field study at Chesapeake Bay and a cave rescue course Aug. 4-12 at Beverly. While the study abroad and marine biology courses are full, the cave rescue training course is accepting applications until July 30. For more information, contact Pat Seiser, 215 Percival Hall.

About 10,000 students attend WVU each summer.
