Being held at WVU for the first time, the Environmental Training Institute for Small Communities will provide trainers, technical assistance providers and local officials with the most progressive information regarding aspects of small system management, said Susan Maczko, promotions editor.

Among the institutes faculty are George Maughan, president, Training Consultants Inc; Rhonda Sherman, extension specialist, North Carolina State University; Gerald Doeksen, Regents Professor and Extension Economist with Oklahoma State University; Christopher King, Director of the Center for Environmental Education and Training, St. Louis University School of Public Health; Lorene Lindsay, environmental consultant; and Bridget Chard, small community project coordinator.
