WHAT: Career Kick-Off Tailgate Party makes networking fun for students through tailgating
WHERE: Mountainlair Plaza
WHEN: Friday (Sept. 1.) Noon to 3:00 p.m.
WHY: Approximately 2,000 WVU students are expected to attend the fifth annual kickoff event at the Mountainlair Plaza to get into the spirit with traditional tailgate games, prizes, music and food while networking with corporate recruiters.
What to Know:
• This is an opportunity for students to connect with employers and learn more about the companies prior to formal career fairs and on-campus interviews.
• Corporate recruiters from Leidos, PepsiCo, Mylan, Sherwin-Williams, Eaton and more will be on site to provide students tips and tricks to landing the internship or job they want.
• WVU students with valid WVU IDs are encouraged to stop by for a free t-shirt, food, games, and prizes.
• Four students will win a flat-screen TV.
